New Years Eve terror plot foiled in LA, FBI says ‘far-left, anti-government’ cell members arrested

U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli announced on Monday that a terror attack plot in Los Angeles on New Years Eve had been foiled. Members from a “far-left, anti-government” organization known as “Turtle Island Liberation Front” were arrested. They were also part of group known as the “Order of the Black Lotus.” According to the FBI, they allegedly planned to bomb multiple companies on New Years Eve and that members of the group had “A…attempted to construct and detonate IEDs out in the desert.”
