Belarus frees 123 prisoners, including Nobel Prize winner, as U.S. lifts sanctions

Belarusian authorities freed Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ales Bialiatski and key opposition figure Maria Kolesnikova, along with more than 100 other prisoners on Saturday. The move comes as President Alexander Lukashenko seeks to improve relations with Washington.
