Torontonians have some of the longest commute times on the continent, but the city’s transit system just got a desperately needed upgrade. After years of construction and delays, the Finch West LRT officially opened Sunday, offering thousands of commuters a ride across the city. It’s Toronto’s first new rapid transit line in more than two decades – with another line expected to open in the new year. But as Lexy Benedict reports, the opening didn’t all go according to plan.
