A big step towards a new pipeline in B.C.’s north coast. Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta premier Danielle Smith signing a memorandum of of understanding this past week, committing them to build an oil pipeline to B.C.’s west coast. The project is being rejected by Premier David Eby and Coastal First Nations. The deal does however mention B.C. and First Nations groups will be consulted.
