On Friday, Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree said that he is "aware" of the arrest of Bandhu Maan Singh Sekhon in India, who is allegedly involved in the shootings at Kap's Café in Surrey, B.C. RCMP Assistant Commissioner and Criminal Operations Officer John Brewer added that "The task force is aware of the statements made that there is maybe a connection to a file here" in the Peel Region. Brewer added that they expect to have some information in the coming days to substantiate that.
