Just hours after Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith signed a new agreement which aims to lay the groundwork for a new pipeline to the Pacific Coast, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre expressed repeated doubts Canadians will ever see such a pipeline. Poilievre claims the Liberals “will stand in the way” of the bitumen pipeline he suggests they continue to “dangle” in front of Canadians.
