Health Matters: Health-care spending expected to grow faster than economy, CIHI report says

Health-care spending in Canada is on track to reach nearly $400 billion in 2025, outpacing the country’s economic growth by 2 per cent. Inflation and an aging population are some of the main drivers of this increase according to a new report from the Canadian Institute for Health Information.
