The warnings of more public drug use and overdoses issued ahead of the Ford Government's shift away from supervised consumption sites are now becoming a reality several months after the policy change. While reported overdoses are down, the head of Toronto Public Health says those numbers were already trending down from pandemic heights and it's too early to say whether there is a link.
