In “Christy” Sydney Sweeney plays professional boxer Christy “The Coal Miner’s Daughter” Martin, who in the 1990’s became the most famous female boxer in the world. Sweeney joins us alongside the real Christy Martin to discuss the upcoming movie about the trailblazer’s life. Christy tells us what her experience has been like watching her real life re-enacted by Sydney for the big screen. And Sydney tells us how she prepared for the physical and mental transformation of becoming Christy and doing her own boxing scenes. “I came to life in a whole new way,” she says.
