Colombia and Chile on Thursday, criticized U.S. President Donald Trump for not attending COP30 after his remarks denying the climate crisis. Colombia's President Gustavo Petro said countries gathered in Belem, in the Brazilian Amazon, for the UN climate summit should "forget" the U.S. president on climate action, while Chile's President Gabriel Boric also recalled Trump's words at September's UN General Assembly, denying the climate crisis.
