Toronto Blue Jays fans leaving the Rogers Centre Friday night remained optimistic after watching their team lose out its chance to bring the World Series home for the first time in 32 years. “Jays in seven!” shouted one fan as another agreed following the Jays narrow 3-1 loss to the L.A. Dodgers. The final MLB game of the season will be played Saturday night at the Rogers Centre. Shohei Ohtani will start for the Los Angeles Dodgers while the Jays will counter with 41-year-old Max Scherzer on the bump. Global’s Nicole di Donato reports.
