Following a tense year between Washington and Beijing, U.S. President Donald Trump has lowered tariffs on China by 10 per cent – putting them down to 47 per cent. The move came during negotiations with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday at the APEC summit in Busan, South Korea. In return, Jinping agreed to crack down on the illicit fentanyl trade, among other promises.
