Speaking to citizens at Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square Sunday, Israeli President Isaac Herzog vowed that “Israel is committed to fulfilling” its peace agreement with Hamas and “wants to seek peace with its neighbours” in Gaza, so long as the militant group lives up to their end of the deal by returning Israeli hostages home. Herzog also sent a message to Israel’s “haters” blaming them for “seeking war,” claiming that Hamas returning the remaining hostages will “change the Middle East.”
