While outlining the Liberal government’s priorities for the fall sitting of Parliament on Monday, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons Steve MacKinnon expressed concern on the “very sobering” acts of political violence that have swept the U.S. in the last week, suggesting they were a “reflection of the toxicity we see on certain social media channels.”
