While making an announcement for the three-stop Scarborough subway extension, the head of Metrolinx wouldn’t give a target opening date for the new line, previously slated to open in 2030. It’s not the only issue the transit agency has had, and was forced to abandon a target opening date, this time for September. Matthew Bingley reports.
