Dozens of Canadian experts, academics and organizations are now urging the prime minister through a letter to defend Canada’s digital sovereignty, especially with the rise of A.I. and the influence of American tech companies. Lawyer and policy strategist Barry Appleton, who signed the letter, joins Miranda Anthistle to discuss what he believes the government should do.
