Carney announces removal of retaliatory tariffs on US goods compliant with CUSMA

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced the removal of retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods that fall under free trade rules Friday — specifically for products compliant with the Canada–U.S.–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA). The change will come into effect Sept. 1.
