Bryan Kohberger, the masked man who snuck into a rental home near the University of Idaho campus and stabbed four students to death in late 2022, has been handed four consecutive life sentences. The families of Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen, two victims in the 2022 University of Idaho murders, gave emotional statements outside court after Bryan Kohberger was sentenced on Wednesday. Kohberger received four consecutive life sentences for murder, and 10 additional years for burglary. Loved ones criticized the plea agreement process, saying it denied them full justice and meaningful input. “We have him where he belongs,” said Kaylee’s father, while Maddie’s stepfather said the sentence ensures “this evil will never again terrorize a family.”
