Letters shared with Halifax council prior to the July 8 council meeting show many businesses were in opposition to turning Morris Street into a one-way street. Many noted concerns around traffic and congestions, particularly along Lower Water Street. In response, some feel the premier stepping in was the right step. Angela Capobianco reports.
