Montreal’s public consultations office calls for a halt in the dismantling of homeless encampments

The office of public consultations is calling out a lack of leadership and governance in the fight against homelessness in Montreal. After listening to submissions from Montrealers since last fall, the OCPM has made a series of recommendations. As Tim Sargeant reports, they include a call to protect encampments until such time as the city puts in place better policies for the unhoused.
