During her visit to the G7 summit in Alberta, Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum brought a gift for Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in the form of a soccer ball made by the Indigenous Wixarika people. The gesture comes ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Mexico, Canada and the U.S.
