At a press conference on Wednesday, Premier Scott Moe announced a $500 relief payment for every adult displaced by Saskatchewan's wildfires. He acknowledged delays in aid delivery but said the province acted “within hours, not days” to improve support. The move follows ombudsman criticism and comes as the province seeks federal help for rebuilding efforts.
