Trump offers advice to Macron after viral ‘slap’ video: ‘Make sure the door remains closed’

Speaking in the Oval Office on Friday alongside U.S. entrepreneur Elon Musk, U.S. President Donald Trump was asked by a reporter if he had any “world leader marital advice” to give to French President Emmanuel Macron, after video of the latter appearing to be slapped or shoved in the face by his wife Brigitte Macron went viral earlier this week. Trump’s advice to Macron: “Make sure the door remains closed.”
