Premier Doug Ford expressed his support for the controversial statue of Sir John A. Macdonald being restored and uncovered after it was boxed up due to vandalism during a wave of anti-racism protests in 2020. "We have to move on. Stop worrying about the past," he said. "This is not the time to argue about a statue," he added.
