MLSE President and CEO Keith Pelley held a press conference on Friday after it was announced Thursday that Brendan Shanahan’s role as president of the Toronto Maple Leafs would come to an end. Pelley said MLSE would not be replacing Shanahan and indicated that his own role is not to decide “who we draft and free agents were going to sign.”
