Prime Minister Mark Carney says Marco Mendicino will stay on as chief of staff “into the summer”. Mendicino landed the role when Carney was elected as the new Liberal leader and was only set to stay on a temporary basis. The former public safety minister to Justin Trudeau has since agreed to stay on.
