An 11-year-old Colombian child was safely reunited with his family in the city of Cali on Wednesday after an 18-day kidnapping ordeal. Authorities reported that the child appeared to be in good health. On May 3, armed assailants stormed the family’s home in Jamundi, in southwest Colombia. The authorities have attributed the kidnapping to dissident factions of FARC.
