Canada’s largest private sector union wants Ottawa to take action against corporations outsourcing jobs as a result of new U.S. tariffs and trade policies. Unifor says the federal government should apply the Foreign Extra Territorial Measures Act (FEMA) to penalize Canadian-based companies if they move operations south of the border under U.S. pressure.
