Additional U.S. border checkpoints cause delays for travellers

Cross-border travellers could now face another new hurdle and lengthy delays when heading north from the United States. Several times over the past few days, American border officers have set up a new checkpoint just south of the Canadian border at the Peace Arch and Pacific Highway crossings, where they’ve been searching “every vehicle” one at a time.
