NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh said Canadians are alarmed by U.S. President Donald Trump’s renewed comments about making Canada the 51st U.S. state. In a press conference on Thursday in Winnipeg, Singh said he is “really worried” about post-election negotiations between the U.S. and Canada, since it has been revealed that the subject of the 51st state came up between Liberal Leader Mark Carney and Donald Trump in their first call.
