Overall inflation eased for Canadians in March amid U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade war that continues to wear on consumer and business confidence. Statistics Canada said Tuesday that the annual pace of inflation cooled to 2.3 per cent last month, compared with 2.5 per cent in February.
