Canada will rebuild military, but ‘make our own decisions’ on defence spending: Poilievre

Asked about U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s demand that NATO members increase defence spending to five per cent of their national budgets, Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre said a government he leads would “rebuild our military” but that Canada would “make our own decisions” on defence spending.
