Expert calls attention to ‘disproportionate’ police response in Indigo bookstore vandalism case

Bruce Ryder, a professor at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School, weighs in on the case of the ‘Indigo 11’ who were arrested and charged with a suspected hate motivated offence after a downtown Toronto bookstore was targeted with posters and red paint in a pro-Palestinian protest. The case is now nearing its conclusion.
