U.S. Vice President JD Vance was met with boos as he arrived at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC on Thursday for a National Symphony Orchestra concert. Footage by Guardian journalist Andrew Roth captured the jeers as Vance and his wife, Usha, took their seats for a performance featuring music by Shostakovich and Stravinsky. The concert comes after President Donald Trump’s recent appointment as chairman of the Kennedy Center.
