Premier Susan Holt addressed New Brunswick’s approach to U.S. tariffs, explaining that the province’s energy relationship with northern Maine is more complex than Ontario’s and therefore ruled out any drastic measures like cutting off power. "We have contracts in place, some of those contracts do not allow for us to levy different fees and tariffs, while others do," Holt explained. “It is not the time for escalation,” she added.
