He’s lived all around the world, walked the halls of Harvard and Oxford, and led two world banks: but before that, our next prime minister grew up in Edmonton and will be Canada’s first leader from the Alberta city. Though Mark Carney has not taken over the top job just yet, his election as leader of the Liberal party is already creating excitement in the city — particularly at the west end high school he attended.
