Victoria woman undergoes ‘tooth-in-eye’ surgery to restore vision

It’s a Canadian first. Three patients this week have undergone a rare type of surgery – where their tooth is going to be used to restore their vision. The operations were performed by Mount Saint Joseph Hospital Surgeon and Ophthalmologist Dr. Greg Moloney along with his team of oral surgeons, Dr. Shannon Webber and Dr. Ben Kang.
