Trump says U.S., UK could have ‘very good’ trade deal where tariffs ‘wouldn’t be necessary’

When asked if British Prime Minister Keir Starmer managed to “persuade” him not to put tariffs on the UK, U.S. President Donald Trump said there was a “very good chance” for the allied countries to arrive at a “real trade deal where the tariffs wouldn’t be necessary.”
