‘No one should go through this’: Families of slain women speak out after potential remains found at Manitoba landfill

The families of Indigenous women murdered by convicted serial killer Jeremy Skibicki spoke out during a press conference on Thursday, reacting with a mix of grief and relief after potential human remains were discovered at the Prairie Green Landfill. Melissa Robinson, Harris’s cousin, recalled years of being told “no” by authorities but persisting until they finally received answers. Jordan Myron, Myran’s sister, expressed the painful reality of losing her mother, saying, “No one should go through any type of heartbreak without their mom.”
