Conservative Party Leader John Rustad was asked at a press conference on Monday, Feb 24, 2025 about MLA Dallas Brodie's social media posts regarding a lawyer facing scrutiny for his push to change training language about burial sites at a former residential school in Kamloops. Rustad says he has spoken with Brodie and says "the facts" are "just about every residential school in the country has a cemetery, has children who passed at a residential school who have been buried there."
