Ukrainians voiced support for Volodymyr Zelenskyy after U.S. President Donald Trump described him as a “dictator without elections” in his social media post on TruthSocial on Wednesday. Zelenskyy’s five-year term was supposed to end in 2024, but elections cannot be held under martial law, which Ukraine imposed in February 2022 in response to Russia’s invasion.
