Speaking to reporters Thursday morning, the City of Toronto’s Transportation Services Director provided an update on his sector’s plan of action to tackle snow from the severe weather event that covered the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) overnight. “The snow is going to be very heavy,” Vincent Sferrazza said. “We will need to continue to be plowing throughout the day, and until Friday. So we simply ask our residents to please be patient,” he added.
