3 sent to hospital after Kent Street East fire in Lindsay: police

February 10, 2025

Three people were taken to hospital following a house fire in Lindsay on the weekend. Investigators remained on scene Sunday following the house fire on Kent Street East on Saturday morning. Emergency services responded around 11:15 a.m. And firefighters evacuated three people. They were transported to Ross Memorial Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire and prevented the blaze from spreading to neighbouring properties. Ontario's Fire Marshal Office is assisting in determining the cause of the fire.
