“We are not deploying the Canadian Armed Forces to our border,” Canada’s Minister of National Defence Bill Blair told Global News on Wednesday. “It’s not what’s required,” Blair said adding that “We have to police that border more effectively. We have to make sure that illicit drugs, illegal migration and organized crime are not operating on both sides of that border,” he added.
