As part of his so-called “common sense” pledge, U.S. President Donald Trump Wednesday signed an executive order banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s and girl’s sports at “virtually all schools” across the nation. “The war on women’s sports is over,” Trump told the crowd at a ceremony commemorating the signing. “From now on, women’s sports will only be for women.”
