A large, slow-moving convoy travelled highways east of Edmonton as specialized crews from Mammoet Canada transported a 1,600-tonne EO Reactor that’s used in the oil refining process from Dacro Industries Inc. in south Edmonton to the Shell Scotford Complex near Fort Saskatchewan. The reactor was 9.8 metres wide, 9.3 metres high and 141 metres long and required a trailer contain 832 wheels, plus several heavy duty semis to push and pull the convoy.
