Homes and streets were flooded in western France on Monday, after Storm Herminia brought heavy rainfall to the region. Neighbourhoods were underwater in the towns of Le Pont Rean and Guipry-Messac, with residents working to protect their homes from the flooding and salvage what belongings they could. Rescuers helped some residents to evacuate.
