Donald Trump was sworn in as U.S. president on Monday for a four-year term with promises to push the limits of executive power. Trump stood with his hand on a Bible inside the U.S. Capitol and took the oath of office to “preserve, protect and defend” the U.S. Constitution, administered by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court John Roberts.
