During question period in the House of Commons on Thursday, Justice Minister Arif Virani condemned the Conservative Party, demanding rapid support for the long-proposed Online Harms Act (Bill C-63) — which the Liberal government split in two on Wednesday in order to prioritize passing measures to fight child sex predators swiftly. “Surely, for the love of God, 338 people can agree on that priority,” Virani said.
