Britain’s Parliament voted Friday in favour of a new bill to legalize assisted dying, clearing the way for months of debate on an issue that has divided the country and raised questions about the standard of palliative care. After a passionate debate, lawmakers voted 330 in favour of the bill and 275 voted against.
